Has anyone managed to solve this issue. I have scoured the net and im getting nowhere.

Im having the same problem, I use a live usb, follow all the steps uptil keyboard layout, and it will hang. I have looked at ubiquity in task manager and it states it is stopped/waiting. Im not sure...
