I use BT3 on VMWare workstation 6 with the bt3 appliance set to NAT and the host computer connected to the internet. I don't have to do anything in BT3 to set it up. The host must be connected to...
Yes, if you use NAT you can have both on the internet at the same time through the same connection.
If you used the NAT selection, BT3 will connect through your host systems internet connection. With bridged, BT3 will connect to the internet through the same cable, but as if it were a separate...
When you are activating 'qtparted' it is trying to run it on /dev/hda which is the cd. My suggestion is if you already have Windows XP loaded, get partition magic or some similar partition tool for...
Hi,
Pur3h4t3, I follow the tutorial and when I get to the point where I run the vncbackdoor on the target computer, it doesn't open port 1024 for me to connect on. I have gone through and deleted...

I have the de-ICE 1.100 disc and bt3 on VMWare. I have succesfully used nmap against the de-ICE system and checked out their faux webpage. When I use Hydra to try and access the ssh port...

Thanks, -=Xploitz=-, I just downloaded your password file and am now seeding it. Much appreciation for your contribution and generosity.
I don't get a bad child error and I'm running both bt3 and the de-ICE vm's on my laptop that only has 512mb ram and I only get the bad file error, no child failure errors.
Hey, Tully, are you having any luck w/ hydra? I'm fairly certain I have the user and password in the files but hydra doesn't find anything. Every now and then I get a 'bad sector file' error but...
I set it up on vmnet2 w/ dhcp start ip of 192.168.1.2, and and vmnet2 is set to ip address 192.168.1.0 w/ subnet mask of 255.255.255.0.
What I have done is I opened a window and typed 'ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.2' to manually change my ip address and now I am able to nmap it. Try this and see if it works for you.
I must admit that I find myself in the same situation. I have both VM's on VMNET2 which I set w/ subnet 192.168.1.0 and mask of 255.255.255.0.
Netdiscover will show all my machines, but any...

Ok, now it seems that something has partially worked. Partially, because now when it boots w/o the live cd it goes to lilo w/ bt as the only option. But when it loads bt it gets to where it says...
