i just got the eeepc today, and i am trying to install the bt4 pre-final onto it. i have unpacked the iso, and i copied everything to a usb stick, but i don't know how to make it...

haha, i decided that it's not good to setup bt3 when you're drunk, so, i gave it another shot today.

so : for real install,

wiped out all the partitions
created 50 m boot
1024 m swap
rest...

can you state here the exact steps you made? works for me as well, but i got some issues with some drivers not installing properly or wtfever.

i tried it on my acert travelmate 4220 , intel T2300, 1.6 ghz, 120 gb drive, 1 gb ram.

erm, i have a question here, when the full version of bt3 will be released, how can we get the updates? we have to redownload the iso and reinstall ? or there will be some repositories updates or...

i think the difference stands in the fact that you would better wander around with an usb stick instead of the live cd?
