alright well i figured out the problem
i got BT3 final and removed BT3 beta
then my driver installed without a problem.
i was able to get my card to inject with aireplay.:]

i tryed it again and this time i let it sit for several minutes.
It gave me a "failed to copy" error, this time so it still isnt working.

any ideas anyone

Hello, i'v been having HUGE troubles getting my edimax ew7318-usg card to inject properly,

i read this thread -->...

intel cards arnt supported..

i think the 3945abg works..
not sure though

im a fairly newbie to.. what i figured out is sometimes the injection wont work all the time... some steps to make it work all the time are here..

- dont boot up backtrack while the usb card is...

all i found were people having the same problem..
do need some kind of kernel update of something

i used bt2 for a while and i was able to install my drivers fine..

i downloaded Bt3 and it wont compile and install them..

i cd to the driver directory
type in make
and these errors come...

i know this is old but i cant install the rt73 driver is bt3 i can in bt2 though.
i get an error when i run the make command..WTF

in your bios look for a boot option screen..
on my laptop i press F9 and it goes to it.. then i press boot from usb and it works..
not all bios has it

its not that i dont understand.. its just some parts of the tuts i have read doesnt add up..
like mac addresses and certain commands..

if u used it with vmware the problem would go away..
VMware has usb support built in

i bought a Linksys WUSB54GC from newegg.com.. i looked on the driver compatibility list and i found my usb dongle on their, it says that its supported but it also said the trick is the driver.. how...

damn.. wel then ill just go buy one then whats a good usb card that works the best and is the most popular.. i looked on the compatibilty site and their is to much to look at kinda
