i had this card and i used it all the way back in bt4beta and it even worked there. please post what creepykrawler suggested because i know for a fact that this card works.

how far are you from the ap? is the ap in the building to the left of your building or to the right?

i dont know if its possible or not but i would definatly reccomend just starting from scratch. if u update it might break some things. but i could be wrong.

did u check the md5sum of the iso? also did u burn the iso at the slowest speed? i have that same card and it works just fine for me...
