I have the same problem. AGP: ATI Radeon HD 2400, and display: 17". I tried to run it on 800x600, but it shows only black screen. Have you found something yet?

I tried to run bt4 from cd. I choose 'start BackTrack FrameBuffer, but nothing happend, it only showed the black screen.
Only with "Start BackTrack in Safe Graphical Mode' and 'Start Persistent Live...

I plan to install bt4 on my win7 computer. I have an available Extended/Logical Drive. Can I proceed installing bt4 in that type of partition or it has to be a primary partition?
