i just finished installing bt3 final on my laptop (an Asus A6Vm)
everything works great but two things

i think there are 3-4...

basically you have to put yourself between the victim and the gateway
why would you stay between dns server and gateway (router) ?

i have bt3 installed on my hdd and on virtualbox a xp with bridge networking so it has a dhcp assigned ip (same class as with bt's ip)

i've tried to get a reverse shell from xp ... i did but when...

i've also tried a simple filter but no success ...





nothing is logged in /tmp/filter_ettercap.log and nothing is shown while sniffing ...

what do you think?
