Ich (und auch viele andere) empfehlen BT4 Pre Final. Ist Ubuntu basiert und wird dir das leben einfacher machen, solange du schon genügend Linux Kenntnisse hast.

What do you expect? As long there is no exploit there is no better way than brute forcing or use a wordlist... have you tried pdfcrack? It's in the ubuntu reps
