be sure to auth to the AP too...you should get a better iv count.. deauth is an attack to force a client off the AP to make it reconnect and...

you shud get ath1 in monitor mode

if you didnt try this already..... clean the partition..even reformat to be sure then do a new install onto the new partition....this worked for me
