i had the same problem with my HP Pavilion dv4-1220us

all i did was boot off USB. Use UNetbootin to help install(ISO to USB STICK) pretty easy.

booted off USB 4gig sand disk cruzer and i got sound through headphones but not from built in speakers. and BT4 Pre Release still doesn't see my wireless adapter sees my ethernet but not wifi :(

I cant seem to get the BT4 ISO burned right or something. My burners (Power2Go and Express Burn) say burn successful, but when i try to verify contents or boot says the DVD is blank. I can see...

ok soo i finally cracked my WEP because:

1. BT3 Didnt crash
2. i fixed the " aireplay-ng -1 0 "
3. didnt need ARP or ACKs, just time.

but i still get the occasional Back Track 3 crash.

when i dl the ISO and burn it, seems that everything worked fine. i can physically see there something burned onto the dvd yet.. it wont read once in PC ?! iv tried burning with power2go and express...

now i might be wrong. but its BT4 a live DVD. and would need to worry about installing onto windows ?
