ok so i have a atheros based chipset and madwifi drivers so how come it isn't working ?

yeah i know but how come it cain't inject to ap's with wep or wpa that what i've been trying find out all this time

ok is a dell d400i put the wifi card in myself it sets under my keybord the card reads on the chipset atheros ar5213a-00 is this any help?

man i understand im not very helpfull but i just dont know how to find what sort of card it is like do i have do pull it out of my laptop and read the chipset or can i just run some sort of command...

soz i bit of a noob ,trying to get my intel ipw2100 wifi card to surport packet injection in backtrack 2 and dont know where to start any help would be great
