I did everything you mentioned and it worked fine EXCEPT. its not doing its job :-\ it compiled/made fine and sits on the channel changing thread line

i've had my EEE 900 model now since it came out and I've got the BT3 USB version installed on the drive all by itself, wiped XP off of it, updated my alsa and sound works great, as everything else...
hmmm bt3 kernel patches, not too familiar with those quite yet.. i'm not new to linux but sometimes i just don't pay attention to some more detailed things heh, but you think if I upgrade the kernel...

I've got Backtrack 3 installed on my SSD of my eee 900, runs amazing and works like a charm, only thing is, the laptop gets super hot sometimes, has anyone tried upgrading the kernel with backtrack...
