i read on other forum that it was supposed to activate my audio system just by putting my login user (root) in front of that line ( audio:x29: )..
anyways, i formatted my pc again to get everything...

i use: /sbin/poweroff
any differences?

i'm having the same problem - apt-get won't download anything - but my network is under a domain which this machine is not connected to, but I can download if I would manage to get a connection...

i opened it and the update downloader appeared (i guess it was it) and it didnt move for a while so I cancelled it, but it never appeared again!
Do I have to activate something to make it appear...

please anyone?
