Personally, I would approach it one of two ways:

Bruteforce the FTP server for a username / password
Find an exploit for the CUPS 1.1 service (A google search for "CUPS 1.1 vulnerability"...

It would most likely be pretty easy to make that into a half decent bash script.

I don't use bluetooth, so I don't know all the commands for it. Post the commands and I'll see if it's possible or...

I use VMware fusion also (on an iMac)

Download the VMware edition of BT3. Open it with VMware Fusion and enjoy. It's really that simple. (...and you can save changes...)

Try plugging it in and running...

I use the same card and haven't had a problem with it yet.

Try this...

iwconfig (verify your wireless card's interface is really rausb0)
ifconfig rausb0 down
macchanger --mac=00:11:22:33:44:55 rausb0
airodump-ng rausb0

and tell me if it works for...
