You can create new partitions using qtparted or gparted and then later on in ubuquity you choose where to install the swap space and root directory structure.
Yeah I had read that, I'm not looking to change though...cracking is my only option in this scenario.
Preferably also have a more up to date version too, the apt-get one doesn't have the vista capacity.
Using bt4 pre final I did a fresh boot and then startx. After that I did apt-get install ophcrack
This however installs an older version that doesn't appear to support the rainbow tables for vista...
If I just do a crack using john crack.txt from a fresh boot of BT4 will the john.rec file still recover that session even though I haven't specified a recovery file to be made?
