I have been running backtrack on a side box for the past few years, never had any issues until I got a new quadcore, 4gb ram, 2 nvidia geforce gpu's to become a network pyrit server....

In my personal opinion ATI cards smash Nvidia Cards with pyrit, but that only. As far as graphics are concerned. I prefer nVidia. I do have a friend who is running an i7 with 4 ATI 100-505604 FirePro...
