In windows i can connect to the adhoc network fine but i cant conect to the adhoc network in backtrack

I still cant get ad hoc network mode from my last post, it doesnt even scan the network but when im in windows xp i can conenct to it perfectly with no problems but when i use backtrack nothing...

ok thanks ill try that but do i have to configure some thing?

May i ask how do i get ad hoc networking in backtrack 2 final because i switch the conenction type in wireless assitant to adhoc but still does not search for that network connection

Hey guys when i run airodump-ng for 5 minutes, at the bhottom the BSSID says its not associated, does that mean im doing it correct or shall i do it another method?
