But I was wondering, why dont you put it here as an attachement or upload it to a server as a word/pdf document so people can download it for future reference.

Have you tried "ifconfig" to see what are the interfaces you have available?

Try reading ebooks and tutorials in regards to CCNA4, you will find that useful and it will have all the basics to networking.
