WHen i run WICD Network Manager to see if any wireless network is seen "in my house" i get message No wireless networks found.
Seems that the card is not being seen as that would explain no wireless...

Compaq NC6220 wireless not being seen by Backtrack 5, works fine under Windows enviroment and i have since reseated the card inside the laptop.
I dont see it as a hardware issue.
any ideas on what...
