I don't know how to do this is BT with out bruteforceing the password.... But if you wanted to reset it to something you could remember or just blank it out, you can get Offline NT Password editor....

Not sure if this will help but on BT4PF my lan doesn't boot. I have to open a terminal
and type

sudo ifconfig eth0 up
sudo dhclient eth0
