I used this on a Dell 1530 with a Broadcom card using the BCM4312 driver. From everything that i have found on the subject it will not support montior mode nor will it be able to packet inject.

i assume that you are using LILO for your boot loader, if so just type that after you boot selection. Here is a link showing both GRUB and LILO.
