Im trying to make BT work like charm on my HP TM2 laptop...
It has a radeon hd 4550 and intel i915 dual...

Ok.. i got a temporary fix... seems like 38 kernel still has vga_switcheroo integrated and works :X
I installed the 38 kernel ... downgraded ettercap to bt4 and now i got it working. When poisoning...

So its probably the libnet ? Have you tried installing different version ? Im gonna boot and check out :))

No damn fix... for this issue... not even a point in a direction :(
And im stuck badly because cant even go back to bt4r2 because only bt5r1 works since its the first kernel with vga_switcheroo...

No sign of fixing... and so many users report it...

any results ? any news ? This sslstrip issue is really annoying...

The L3 errors only come up when SSLStrip is fired up... if ettercap is runned alone it works ok... but no ssl

I have an rt2860 wireless card and the default drivers that came with backtrack4 are not able to do injection... however i had a little search over this internet and found that there is no solution...

I made an usb backtrack 4 using unetbootin and when i try to boot on eee pc 901 gives a black screen and a message "boot error" nothing else... cant get over it... tryed searching but no results......
