Rebuild the iso, i used MagicIso to build it and ImgBurn at 2x speed to burn it. Same goes for modules, slow speed works good.
just use the PTW module and build the iso. Thats the easy...

boot the livecd and open a shell konsole.
type chroot /mnt/backtrack/ /bin/bash
then type nano /etc/lilo.conf

edit lilo,save it and type lilo -v
see if that helps any.
