Some people have luck with this right out of the box, others (like me) have nothing but trouble. Maybe there is an issue with firmware on the AWUS036H.

How are you running backtrack? (USB, DVD, Dual boot, etc)

The correct driver is supposedly installed in BT4. Are you reading instructions for BT4 or an earlier...

Get that wireless card name and check for compatibility with aircrack-ng.

I've read the wiki and I have done what I can to follow steps precisely. My problem is that I can not get the packet injection to work. I successfully boot to backtrack using from a USB thumbdrive....
