I don't think it matters the size of the USB stick. As long as it's big enough to hold BT and have a decent size SWAP partition, it will work nice and quick.

I have BT3b running perfectly fine on a 2GB USB stick. :D

If I remember right, it's a -a when you're doing fakeauth and a -b when you're doing arp request replay.
