Internal wireless cards and PCMCIA cards will NOT work in VMware Workstation, you have to boot into the OS natively. Or you could by a USB wireless adapter and have fun in VMware :P

Internal cards, as well as PCMCIA cards won't work in VMware... USB ones will work though, so if you don't wanna dual boot or run off the Live CD, you're shit out of luck, no offense...
why not use airolib-ng to speed up cracking time for WPA/WPA2? with several lists totaling 200+MB, would take days without airolib-ng :P
Will this work for WPA/WPA2, or just WEP? Off the top of my head, I'd guess and say just WEP.
