I had the reboot-crash issue on my Radeon x1400. I'd be willing to give it a go.
Tried that and it didn't work...couldn't even find the package actually. Anyway, I remember from one of xCPPx's guides on the Luks encrypted volume he unpacked and repacked the initrd image and that...
Can you post the contents of your menu.lst from grub? Minus all the #'d lines. I've got Windows 7 RC and BT4 pre final working great with grub...minus a minor modules.dep issue I'm working through.
I'll give it a shot when I get home. I usually use my Alfa for that so I just did some cursory tests on the 3945. I'll let you know what I come up with.
Update: Injection is working at ~500 pps...
Working great on my Dell! The new menu structure is great, it's really nice having all the options to start services so handy.
Intel 3945a/b/g is working well, looks like it's even scanning...
This worked for me. Taken from Tux Training » Blog Archive » HOWTO: Install THC-Hydra 5.4 in Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex
Make sure you have the ssh package installed, build-essentials, and the 2.0 gtk (I...
Even if the router doesn't flat out show the key, they almost all have a backup settings feature. The key is usually found somewhere in that file as plaintext...
Is there an easy way to modify this so that it either automatically senses what device the boot drive is tied to or where you can manually select at startup? I set it up as an sda but when I boot...
Back in BT3 I just turned the volume down, created a module and tossed it in the modules directory. Things used to be so much simpler...ha ha ha. Just kidding, I really like the new direction.
Had the same thing.
Try "modprobe -r"ing your driver then reloading it. That worked for me with my 036H
I realized that after the fact ;) I thought you were talking about loading the Network Manager from the programs menu, which I erroneously thought would load the service. Ha! Guess that's what I...
I'll go ahead and display some of my ignorance here. Evidently, not only do you have to issue:
/etc/init.d/networking start
you must also issue:
/etc/init.d/NetworkManager start
starting...
yep, issued the networking start command, it ran through it's thing, NetManager was already running so shut it down then restarted it from the menu. I tried the same from the ISO and getting the...
I've followed the instructions to start networking and still getting Network Manager Is Not Running. =/ I'm going to continue researching, but looks like there might be more to it than just not...
In Oklahoma the computer code is written so vaguely that using somebody's calculator without permission is a felony. All wireless sniffing falls under exceeding level of authorization (ie - you have...
There are actually some places in the states that have "Self-Help" laws. They usually do not allow you to retrieve your property with use of weapons though (See OJ Simpson).
However, there is a...
The download from the ATI site worked for me. Just don't try the module creation business as it never seemed to work. I ran the installer then you have to run a configuration command (Can't...
did anyone make any headway on this? I'm still getting a decoder error too and I've got the most current version of LZMA, tried in XP and through BackTrack and my Ubuntu box all the same result,...
Awesome! Mine is on the way and should be here Tuesday courtesy of eBay. Crummy weather = no flying = me playing with my new toy (sts)
I just copied the boot and BT3 directories over the top of the old ones...and it seems to be working. Should I start over from scratch here too?
Got the same thing on my 6400. I also see that ATI.lzm gives me a "Corrupted Download" message on boot. Anyone else get this?
So does this still apply to BT3 Final or is it already included. I'm looking at buying an Alfa card currently.
