thanks mrtank i was just trying to boot the final cd and kept getting this error. worked perfectly!

Uncommenting killall lines also allowed me to boot without fsck checking my hard drive after every reboot!

I also receive this message just before the computer powers off.

I've browsed various forums, including this one in search of a solution.

My problem is everytime I reboot BT3, fsck verifies the hard drive because it says the drive was uncleanly mounted.
