I also had the same empty xorg.conf file.
Now you have to edit it according to your log file in /var/log/Xorg.0.log as I have done in my case...

You might want to refer to the link I provided...

I think your copy of BT might be corrupted.
Have you checked MD5 with yours one?

And there might be problem with burning app itself. You might have made 'Data Session' while burning instead of...
