Well you can kick of your xbox from your router because its using a wifi standard. I do not know much about the controller however the odds of it using one of the wifi standers is pretty much none....

I did a quick google search and found a few pages that list instructions for installing the Broadcom 4312. I do not know if they work however here is the first page google picked up....
