    I was thinking of the Live CD, which uses 'toor' as the default password.

    But you're right, if anyone used such a password on an installed OS, that would just be stupid. :D

    Open /etc/X11/xorg.conf in a text editor in superuser mode. BT3 should be root by default, so you should be able to open it. If not, use sudo and use 'toor' as the password.
