I have been having a look at the autopsy tool in backtrack, and im impressed with it:cool:.

I have been able to view pictures and files that i have deleted off of a USB thumb drive...

I am trying to set up a mysql database in Backtrack 4 and im having some problems..

i could use my dynamic IP, i just wanted to try and get it as close to a static IP as i could.

My ISP randomly changes the IP so its just a bit of a bitch when it changes when ive...

would i have to do this even though i have a reverse shell coming back to me from WWW side, through my router (i have fowarded ports) and to me on my private LAN..

plus i thought no-ip.com took...

i have managed to sort it out now, i just done a clean install of Windows then installed backtrack.. The MBR in Windows must have got effed up before or somthing.

you would have to foward the correct ports on your router and then somehow get the user to click on a link to your website by social engineering.. yo would need to make them want to click on...
