the card is indeed good. I got it for like $30 shipped from ewiz.com I have it installed in my dell e1405. But because HP whitelists their wireless cards ONLY a HP branded card will work in a HP...

im guessing you vm is nat'd so you are sharing an ip address. As far as vnc would be consider i beleive it sees both machine with that single ip so it would technically be vnc'ing to itself. hope...
