Same for me, most of the time i canīt get it to monitor mode, cause airmon freezes and telling me, knetworkmanager could cause problems. if i get it to work though (after a few restarts), it detects...
iīd guess he has a pci card ^^ but who knows?

I own a Netgear wg111v3 usb adapter with rtl8187b chipset (bought it, cause i thought it was v2 :/ ). Of course it didnīt work with bt3, at least i didnīt get...
iīm using the VMWare image. if i want to put the adapter to monitor, airmon freezes (or so), the cursor jumps down a line after the first device, the virtual monitor card isnīt even shown and airmon...
