I have been trying to get my nic and wireless card to work in backtrack 3, they completely do not show in backtrack 3 or 4. What has me confused is they work perfectly fine in ubuntu and open suse....
didnt see any errors
ls /dev/?d* shows this result

thanks for the quick reply, after doing that its showing that sda1 is the largest in numbers of blocks, sda1 is my thumb drive. the only reason i need to access my other partition is for pureh@tes...

I have got cracking wep and wpa's down, but how do i restart the networking so i can use programs like wireshark on the network i cracked? after cracking in the wireless assistant it says no usable...
