lspci
lsusb
and the message that appears when you do a airmon-ng start <interface>, also any other messages that appears when it comes to go into mon0.
...

You have to check to see if wlan0 is in Mode:Monitor by performing the cmd
iwconfig. If you see it in Mode:Managed you have to change it to Monitor mode. To perform that task:



ifconfig wlan0...
