Re: Cheap WPA(2)-Enterprise Solution (Radius server)

I already considered that, but it's simply impossible on my NAS, it's a cheap 1 Tb Iomega one, but it works great. Just impossible to add stuff to it like radius, or to change the OS.

    A barebone...

Re: Cheap WPA(2)-Enterprise Solution (Radius server)

    Hey agarax,

No problem, I wasn't thinking you're a dick since your statements are correct, no matter how you post them :)

I've read about FreeRADIUS and other software out there, but it...

Re: Cheap WPA(2)-Enterprise Solution (Radius server)

    Hi egeier,

I hadn't found that site during my search, thanks for sharing.
They seem to have alot more options vs the free radius server I'm using.
Yet the interesting options are only avaible...

Re: Cheap WPA(2)-Enterprise Solution (Radius server)

A: You are correct, but I don't think they're going to come all the way to your country to see what's on your home network. As long as you don't use the same password like your email account, you'll...

    Cheap WPA(2)-Enterprise Solution (Radius server)

    Hi everyone,

Allthough my topic won't be backtrack related, I decided to share it anyway, since it concerns wireless security.

Since the first day I learned about aircrack, I obviously became...

Re: Help Needed with Wireless AND partition mounting

1: get the latest compat-wireless drivers package, that's your best bet to get your card working
2: my drives always mount automaticly when I click on them.. open Konqueror => removable media =>...
  7. Re: Lucafa's tutorial: softAP with internet connection and MITM sniffing

not at all! I will be using that script aswell.

    bye,
  8. Re: Redirecting ALL traffic from one ethernet port to another

Yes and without NAT, just some plain and simple bridging/forwarding between the ethernet ports. My googlufu is kinda letting me down at the moment, but first I'll need to do some testing tomorrow...
  9. Re: Redirecting ALL traffic from one ethernet port to another

as a matter of fact, I'm doing that right now, and it seems like I should install "bridge-utils". Is this tool (or a similar one) included in backtrack?
  10. Re: Redirecting ALL traffic from one ethernet port to another

It surprises me that it's really that hard like you say.
you could indeed say my linux box would be acting as a simple router between a client and the internet.
I just need to figure out how I can...
  11. Re: Lucafa's tutorial: softAP with internet connection and MITM sniffing

I can only suggest what I've suggested to another user before:
  12. Re: Redirecting ALL traffic from one ethernet port to another

Well I'm not sure how to call it.
An ethernet device on my first port needs to be connected to the internet on my second port, and I'm looking to set up some mitm attacks between those two ports, so...
  13. Re: Lucafa's tutorial: softAP with internet connection and MITM sniffing

Well if you're sure you're performing all the tutorial steps like it should, it might be a vmware problem.
Like I posted in the tut, vmware can cause problems.
    Try a live CD.
    If it still...
  14. Redirecting ALL traffic from one ethernet port to another

So the title says it all.
My linux knowledge is still limited, and I would like to know how I can achieve this.
Should I be using iptables to set this up? if so, could someone provide the...
  15. Re: Lucafa's tutorial: softAP with internet connection and MITM sniffing

This is like searching for a needle in a haystack. there could be multiple reasons, no one will be able to help you properly if you don't provide more details about the problem.

Re: engenius EOC 1650 monitor mode?

No you cannot. this is not a wireless card, but an AP/bridge.
  17. Re: would like to have a network adapter with speeds of 150Mbps+ 11b/g/n

Aah I see. Since you want usb only, the alfa 050NH will be an excellent choice!
  18. Re: would like to have a network adapter with speeds of 150Mbps+ 11b/g/n

the 500mw alfa also works at G speeds, 54 mbs.
If you want a cheap solution, ALFA 050NH.
If you don't care about the money, I recommend getting Ubiquiti SR71-X or SR71-E. These will work out of the...
  19. Re: Lucafa's tutorial: softAP with internet connection and MITM sniffing

I'm thinking the victim client has fixed network settings (so no dhcp) and uses an IP (192.168.1.9) which isn't within the range of your dhcp server. If you tweak the tut accordingly, it will work.
  20. Re: Lucafa's tutorial: softAP with internet connection and MITM sniffing

kafteras: I don't know what's causing the problem..
nivong: just use g0tm1lk his new script.

MOD EDIT: Removed non-English text so that all may benefit from the post.

Re: Ralink 2560 PCI rt2500 help

May I ask what card (brand and model) you're using?
I'm asking because airmon was also telling me my pci card had a rt2560 chipset, but it wasn't correct.
I even took my card out to check, it was...
  24. Re: Is there something wrong with these error messages? (ScreenShots)

    * make sure you're using your MONITOR INTERFACE (wlan0 or mon0, depends on your card/driver)

    aireplay-ng -6 and -7

I was wondering how to properly use these attacks. there is little to nothing documented about this. please give me an example.

When looking at the aircrack wiki examples, I don't get it.
