This news doesnt surprise me... But its sure that it is worrying.

I have the alfa, which is a RTL8187 chipset - Never had to install anything under BT2, it was always recognised. And injection always worked.

Well... if youre card is compatible with injection - It should be compatible with all the attacks :confused:

I thinked that the monitor mode, was just for injection?!

airmon-ng start wlan0, puts my card into monitore mode.

I tested here, beginning from 0, with monitor...

Maybe beaucouse capturing images isnt a vital function, and the BackTrack team had to watch after each mo to make everything hold in a 700 iso and 1go USB key.

Well, the alfa 500 is one of the best wireless usb cards...

I have one, she works good in monitor mode. Ive got problems in managed mode, but maybe it doesnt comes from the card.

Have you tested on different networkes or just one?
Cause its possible that it doesnt comes from the card but from the network.

Do you use a bootloader or something to boot on a MB or MBP with a USB device?
