just to let you guys know, I bought a second Edimax 7318usg usb and they both seem to be working ok together.

got one downloading, the other's running kismet.

my router config says:




this second option is set by drop-down box (WPA/WPA2/WPA+WPA2)

you could try googling your router make/model and see if it supports WPA2.

Ive got my computer working with 2.6.24.5 kernel, and edimax ew7318usg usb card.

just a thought..

is it WPA or WPA2 your trying to use?

in that case I'll go ahead and buy another Edimax.

it seems other networks close by are now starting to generate/recieve large numbers of these LLC packets too, although there are a couple of networks that are not affected.
