No Lan (eth0) , Wifi constant crashes, LENOVO IDEAPAD N5..
LENOVO IDEAPAD N581 MBA98GE Notebook (i have new buy),
by my old laptop (dell) bt5 work great.
OS Backtrack 5 R3 KDE x64 (64bit)
Hardware is:
Ethernet LAN 10 MBit/s, 100 MBit/s, 1000 Mbit/s
Wireless Lan Wireless LAN 802.11 B/G/N
via Bluetooth 4.0
(WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, GBit-LAN, Bluetooth)
I have wicd reconfigur and reboot......................
and netork starting and restarting......................
all doesnt work............
Wlan0 can find my Wlan router but the connectionless aborts irregular, and the performance is reduced, all 1-3 minutes the connection breaks.
new system reboot: start it is 60-70 db until it drops to 30 db, and he connects and keeps getting shorter and shorter and shorter connection.
Lan doesnt exist ???
bluetooth doesnt exist ???
somehow I do not go on,when logs etc. is needed just give modest.

Re: No Lan (eth0) , Wifi constant crashes, LENOVO IDEAPAD N5..
I suggest you go over the "How To Make a thread" sticky and come back with more information.
Re: No Lan (eth0) , Wifi constant crashes, LENOVO IDEAPAD N5..
I have Network,
has done it, I had the wrong driver apparently on it, a couple of test runs have now. :)

Sickness stated you need to know how to make a thread, but I'll try to give you a little "push" towards the "How to":
You need to post sensible info as to: chipset (wifi device), BT5 installation type (HDD, USB, VM, Live DVD?), lspci -v (post it, at the end of each device is the module used by kernel), lsmod | grep -i "module used by kernel".
Also include in a brief way what you have done to fix it, in what order, but brief, there is a lot of usless info that you do not want to post.
Be specific and brief, unless some community member ask for some info to help.
Luck.
