i install the backtrack 5 r3 Gnome 32 bits
for mistake i install the ati driver version 11.9
i have to install AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing the 32 bits our the 64 bits
my nootbook is Acer Aspire 5535
can install the new ati driver our first i have to remove a old driver to install a new driver
You might want to remove the old driver and then install new driver..
Do not take anything for granted when installing a newer version...Uninstall the older version first as you may end up having functionality issues...

Yes, you are confused...
You have 2 Operating Systems (OS): 32 and 64bit architecture. So far so good.
In a 64 bit enviroment (OS), you can have both 32 and 64 bit applications.
In a 32 bit enviroment (OS), you can ONLY have 32 bit app.
Now, to have a 64 bit enviroment, off course I need some hardware capable of supporting 64 bit computing, then I need a 64 bit processor....Again, with this hardware I can install both 32 and 64 bit OS.
I just simply cannot run a 64bit enviroment with a 32bit hardware (cpu)..
It's like trying to empty a 20 gallon water tank into a 10 gallon tank...Just not possible. it will spill all over..I need something bigger..But how about filling a 10 gallon water tank into a 20 gallon tank, yes, I can do that.
