Auto data save for wifi (like as langrabber)

Hello guys,

For Windows i use a very nice app http://www.skygrabber.com/en/langrabber.php. The software auto detect the contente of packets in lan or wlan and save all data files.

You can configure the software with filters, if you want to save jpeg, htmls, audio, flv and a lot of types of data files.

The main problem is the Windows, hard to change the mac and other litle problems.

Backltrack have any similar software to auto save data files for lan and wlan networks?

If you mean saving datas on a network ? so there is Wireshark (also available on windows).
Same here, a lot of filters ec, and allows you to save captured packets on .pcap files.
I've heard you can extract images etc with a softare on windows, but i can't remember which one.

You should try Wireshark, even if it's not what u're looking for. It's a software you MUST know when sniffing networks

i have asked in wireshark forums but the software doest not have it. the filters cant work to save data files, i found two linux app to do it but both is discontinued projects since 2007. :(
