Lost LAN Connection
I have probably a stupid question, nevertheless I have no answer.
Have installed BT5 long time ago and have done a apt-get update/upgrade - so far so good.
Have also configured a local NIC with a local IP adress and subnetmask (18.104.22.168/255.255.255.0). I have deleted gateway in /etc/network/interfaces - I do not want that this PC goes "online" with this NIC. Connection with putty (ssh) and vncserver works still fine.
I can only view this desktop via vncviewer (PC is on 5th floor and I am on 1st floor).
But, when I make during my vncviewer session a wireless connection with WICD to a different network (192.168.2.123/255.255.255.0), I loose my local network vncviewer connection. This means that I am not able to see the desktop via vncviewer.
Any idea what changes I have to do ?
Many thanks and regards
