umm boot your normal operating system, and check the md5 sums, if you don't know how to do that, google it.
checking those will ensure that you have the right cd.
if low and behold that doesn't work, then that means that the drivers on bt will not pick up on your monitor, try it on a different computer, if it still doesn't work, redownload a whole new copy, and reburn, slow speed, give it a shot.
p.s. for future reference, balding_parrot and i are always willing to help, but you have to tell us what the error is, make and model computer, and also check around first before frantically posting out of no where

Memory: 1014MB RAM
I've burnt and loaded the LiveCD. I wait at the "boot:" prompt until it launches the "/boot/vmlinuz...." and the "/boot/initrd.gz" and then I get a black screen. No splash, no boot... it just sits there. I've left it alone to make sure it's not just slow, but nothing happens.

I checked my iso's md5 it's correct. It's not a md5 problem.
I'm running Vista Home Premium doesn't it have any affect on BT2?
1) Check the md5 as BP says
2) Burn the iso @ a slower speed (Active iso burner works very well for me)
It's obvious that it's a faulty medium problem
I did all of those steps. I even tested it on my friend's computer works fine. He's running XP. Maybe it is not compatible with Vista?Quote:
