if you want to test yourself with BT5 (first) 32-bit live-mode (possibly not so "" ruin "" your R2)
bye :)
Thanks for this feedback.. let's see if anyone else succeeds with BT5 R2..

Re: Issues: Wardriving: Tether iPhone with BT5 R2 -> kismet to receive gps signal
Ok I believe I found my issue but not the solution..
I was reading this link:
http://git.snow-crash.org/?p=blue-nm...plain;f=README
This README file is from the creator of BlueNMEA
It clearly mentions there that
Code:
BlueNMEA as a RFCOMM server
---------------------------
This mode is only available on Android 2.x.
BlueNMEA acts as a server, and provides a serial port other devices
can connect to.
Galaxy S3 has an Android version 4.0.4
Hence I believe that BlueNMEA app could not see any device even when I have my BT machine paired with Galaxy S3.
The pic will show that I am paired...

Ok question for you zimmaro:
Is your device rooted as the GS3 I have is NOT rooted? Just wanted to check this before I root mine.
I would think that to run BlueNMEA you probably does not need to root your android device. Just checking...

Sorry mate I am not quite understanding it here.. How could you get your GPS coordinates without BlueNMEA please?

Well I dug in a bit more.. I think the bluetooth connection is not working properly as I could not send files over it..See the error message
