Re: [GUIDE] Loading the i915 driver in the 3.2.6 kernel without adding unsupported PP
I made a small fix after script install and now everything works fine
Code:
linux /boot/vmlinuz-3.2.6 root=UUID=b30dbac8-62f9-4b2f-a494-abdbc64f0f3d ro text video=i915:modeset=1 i915.i915_enable_rc6=1 i915.lvds_downclock=1 i915.i915_enable_fbc=1 pcie_aspm=force
remove text from grub.cfg line 71

It worked for me, all I needed was the:
Code:
modprobe i915 modeset=1
because just have the integrated HD 3000 and not the Nvidia card.
