Backtrack 5 " upgrade from R1 to R2 " upgrade problem ...

after conducting an apt-get dist-upgrade from Backtrack R1 , I still running the Linux bt 2.6.39.4 kernel not 3.2.6 , my system was updated and
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded ?????
i'm just doing what i found here :Upgrading to BackTrack 5 R2 in oficial bt site

The solution is called checking the simplest method possible. Did you verify that grub calls the proper kernel?

Hi,
Just after the follow of that instruction I did additional things.
I installed linux-image, linux-header and linux-src disparately and after reboot I did command grub-update, and after that apt-get update and upgrade again, but firstly I switched off by hash sign the repository pointed to ubuntu in apt config file. After that I have had the proper kernel and all upgrade.
