How is BackTrack different?
Hello all,
How is backtrack 5 R1 gnome different to, say, Ubuntu with the same tools installed? Is it just Ubuntu with a /pentest/ directory?
Is the default Firefox on this distro different in any way (such as stripping certain info out of headers?) I have noticed NoScript installed by default which is cool.
When it comes to updating, we use the BT repos. Does this include updates for both the /pentest/ tools and the underlying Ubuntu os or just one?
Thanks to anyone that sheds some light on some/all of these,
jev.
