getting BT to bring boot menu
I am trying to getting BT4 to install with a XP partition also. Normally there is no prob's with any other distro to do this. But i know the normal install is for a full disk install and when i boot any of it from the ISO or USB into kde i can't really see whats going on. font it like super huge and half of the screen is not available. I tried using fix-splash but no use. I'm using a HP pavilion 5000, i installed it on my dell and have had no problems what so ever. So i'm guessing it's graphic's card/display but i can't even bring up the display settings without it being HUGE. the install.sh is on the desktop when i startx but it's half the size of the screen. Any help is appreciated.

Re: getting BT to bring boot menu
hi,
try this...
1. kill your current running X (like, <CTRL>+<ALT>+<Backspace>
2. reconfigure your X11 3. restart X11 alternative:
1. kill running X11 instance
2. run 3. download latest linux driver for your graphic card and install without running X11
