NO wifi on laptop, rtl8192se , chipset unknown?? please HELP!!

no wifi- helpp!!
Hi, I have recently installed backtrack 5 r1 on my laptop.

Previously I had ubuntu 11, and wireless worked fine.. not anymore

I have the blue indicating light showing active wifi, but in wicd there are no networks available.

So far I have downloaded the latest driver- for my rtl8192e

I type airmon-ng start in terminal and i get

interface- Wlan0, chipset - unknown, driver - rtl8192e - (phy0) (monitor mode enabled)

I feel close to getting my wifi card working, but I am stuck here, any help.. I downloaded the driver (/root/documents/rtl8192se_linux_2.6.0.......2010.tar.gz) for my card, how do i install this in terminal??

any help is greatly appreciated!
